The Seventh-day Adventist church has built entire doctrines around the “little horn” in Daniel 8 being Rome/papacy… but what if the evidence actually points to Antiochus IV Epiphanes all along? 🤔

📍 Antiochus literally desecrated the temple, banned Jewish practices, and set up the “abomination of desolation”
📍 The 2,300 days fit PERFECTLY with the historical timeline of temple defilement (167-164 BCE)
📍 Daniel 11 describes Antiochus’s military campaigns with stunning historical accuracy

Why are we stretching a 2nd-century BCE prophecy to fit medieval and modern events when it already has a perfect historical fulfillment? 🎯

Maybe our interpretive framework needs some serious re-examination. Maybe we’re forcing Daniel into our theological box instead of letting the text speak for itself.

CHALLENGE: Before you react, actually research Antiochus IV’s reign. Compare the historical facts with Daniel’s prophecy. The parallels are undeniable.
